We spend endless hours searching the net nationwide to track down forgotten discarded and left for dead classics and bring them to open market to find them a new home and hopefully a second chance to be out on the road again. Many of these cars have been sitting for years ,some don't need much, others may need full tune ups and or restoration, but all need a new home. We are not a restoration shop, body shop or mechanic , we simply track down these very Special,rare,unique or just quirky beauties where ever they are in the country and save them from sure death at Crusher . Today we bring you a Swedish Classic and one of the most reliable vehicles ever built, , a 1984 Volvo 240/245 Station Wagon , Unrestored, in running condition. Found and rescued this Tank from NC ,USA after very likely seating unused for a few years ....Please take a few minutes to read through our description . INTERIOR , driver seat torn but the other seats are in pretty good shape, dash cracked, door panels in good shape ,all windows roll up and down , headliner looks original its a little dirty but not in bad shape for its age, radio works, no foul odors, carpet needs cleaning, some rust in rear storage are by the windows edge (see pics) , please see photos for more details . EXTERIOR , body lines are very straight , doors close very smooth , rocker panels are very badly rusted (see pics) , some areas in door jambs and lower door edge have some rust spots (see pics),main frame looks ok, exterior floor its completely rotted out in some areas , was poorly re-painted at some point with this Burgundy but its Originally white as visible on door jambs and under the hood, see photos for more details and visible damages . MECHANICALLY, it runs and drives, sounds good,will need tuning , brakes work , has A/C but it is not blowing cold, tires hold air and have good thread but could not say how old they are . As always, we advice a personal inspection before driving any classic car and as expected for any classic car that has not been used in a while it may also need further serviced, tuning and inspections before safely taking it on the road . Its already a very cool car, cant wait to see what it will look like if the right person gets a hold of it, if you are looking for a classic on a budget here is your chance.
