Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 2008 Saab 9-3 recalls can be found in this database. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

The 2.0T also comes equipped with a number of new standard features, including a tire-pressure monitoring system, rain-sensing windshield wipers, XM satellite radio, a year of OnStar, and 16-inch, 14-spoke alloy wheels. The "T" in 2.0T stands for turbocharged, and in this case a 207-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine powers the front-wheel-drive car. The engine links to a full synchromesh six-speed manual transmission with a hydraulically activated clutch or an optional Sentronic automatic transmission with a manual shifting mode. Other standard features for the 2008 9-3 2.0T include leather seats with a power-adjustable driver's seat, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, woodgrain trim, automatic climate control, antilock brakes, traction control, and an electronic stability system. Later in the model year, Saab will also add an optional electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system, called XWD, or cross-wheel drive. Test drivers and reviewers have noted that while the Saab 9-3 2.0T has a comfortable, well-appointed cabin, it still lacks in areas such as the suspension, steering, and overall handling, especially when compared to some competitive sport sedans. However, stability and handling greatly improve with the addition of the new XWD system, according to some reviewers.Driver Air Bag,Passenger Air Bag,Passenger Air Bag Sensor,Front Side Air Bag,Front Head Air Bag,Rear Head Air Bag,Child Safety Locks,Daytime Running Lights,Traction Control,Stability Control,Climate Control,Multi-Zone A/C,A/C,Security System,Cruise Control,Adjustable Steering Wheel,Intermittent Wipers,Variable Speed Intermittent Wipers,Rain Sensing Wipers,Steering Wheel Audio Controls,Power Outlet,Engine Immobilizer,Front Reading Lamps,Rear Reading Lamps,Leather Steering Wheel,Trip Computer,Telematics,Requires Subscription,AM/FM Stereo,CD Player,Satellite Radio,Auxiliary Audio Input,Rear Defrost,Power Windows,Floor Mats,Keyless Entry,Power Door Locks,Heated Mirrors,Power Mirror(s),Driver Vanity Mirror,Passenger Vanity Mirror,Driver Illuminated Vanity Mirror,Passenger Illuminated Visor Mirror,Woodgrain Interior Trim,ABS,4-Wheel Disc Brakes,Power Steering,Aluminum Wheels,Front Wheel Drive,4 Cylinder Engine,Turbocharged,Gasoline Fuel,5-Speed A/T,A/T,Transmission w/Dual Shift Mode,Tires - Front Performance,Tires - Rear Performance,Temporary Spare Tire,Power Driver Seat,Pass-Through Rear Seat,Bucket Seats,Driver Adjustable Lumbar,Rear Bench Seat,Leather Seats
