Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1979 Chevrolet CAMARO recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1979 Chevrolet CAMARO problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Major Options / Build:
Additional Description: *350 V8*, *AUTOMATIC*, *TTOPS*. THis is a local car that is in very good shape for it's age. It hasn't been restored but will be a fun car to drive until you take to the next level. MECHANICAL- It is equipped with 350, auto, power steering and brakes. According to the previous owner it has around 34,000 miles on a rebuilt 350. It has great options including cruise, power windows, CD palyer, AC and Ttops. This car drives very good with no major rattles. Currently the dome light, horn and dash light s do not work. TEST DRIVE- I have personally drove this car around 30 miles and is a very good driving Camaro. It has dual exhaust that has a great sound. It goes down the road straight and the brakes stop nice . This is a fun car to drive and one that will get you noticed. EXTERIOR- The body appears to have had an older repaint at one time, probably done in Laquer. The only rust I can see is on the passenger rocker panel. It does have some paint chips and is faded some but a very solid car. INTERIOR- The cloth seats are in good shape. The dash has a couple cracks. The carpet is in good shape. The headliner is ok with a few sags in some areas. See the videos of an upclose inspection, driving it and it running.
