Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1966 Mercedes-Benz 250 recalls can be found in this database. Additional Description: This motorcar was from a time when Mercedes Benzs were built by hand by the best Master German Craftsmen. In my opinion, after 30 years of collecting Mercedes Benz's throughout the world, this is, without a question, a moving work of art. It has been extremely well maintained both mechanically and cosmetically. The body is particularly soundwith little tonorust issues for a 47 year old classic. keep in mind this car started out a Coupe then converted to a convertible in the late 80's. A custom made soft top was just fitted to it this year. The odometer reads 12,634 miles which we assume means that it has been driven less that 2,396 miles per year for a total of 112,634 miles but it looks like a10,000 mile masterpiece. There were very few 250SE Convertible with the high grill made and that makes this a very rare specimen indeed. When you think about the250SE Convertible going for well over $75,000.00 today it makes you realize that this exceptional example will not be far behind in escalating value. It is finished in a German Black with an impeccable camel leather interior, highlighted with beautifully refinished woodwork . It is fitted with the Mercedes 2.5L straight6 cylinder FI engine which affords one excellent handling and driving pleasure. It is fully 4speed autotrans; four wheel disc brakes, and tight handling suspension. I am immensely proud of this moving work of art and I truly believe you will never find another in this pristine condition at this price. Everywhere I go, I get outstanding compliments. This is for the alert collector who is looking for an excellent return on their investment while being able to drive their dream motorcar.
