Major Options / Build:

Additional Description: A 426ci HEMI is at the heart of this incredibly rare 1971 Hemi Road Runner, one of 55 built and one of just 27 equipped with the Torqueflite Automatic. With just 26,700 miles, it is one of a handful of 1971 Hemi Road Runners with such low miles on the road today. Although it does not contain the original numbers matching 426ci / 425 HP Hemi V-8 engine, the motor is a Plymouth warranty replacement engine, and is the correct motor type and period correct. The Roadrunner still wears the original Sno-White paint and the majority of the original sheet last-year Hemi Road Runner has the optional A36 Performance Axle Package with a 3.55 Gear Ratio is also included, comprising a Dana Sure-Grip Differential Sure Grip differential, the heavy-duty version of the Torqueflite with external oil cooler, a 7-Blade Torque Drive Fan, 26-inch High Performance Radiator With Fan Shroud, and power front disc brakes. It has color-keyed racing mirrors, the V21 hood performance package with the N96 Air Grabber Fresh Air Hood, Tinted glass, Tachometer, and the A87 Road Runner decor group. The 15 inch Cragar SS wheels in the photos have been switched out to Factory Mopar Rallye Wheels wrapped in Cooper Cobra Radial G/T interior is factory black with front and rear bench seats and the shifter on the column. The dash and gauges are original with the Factory AM/FM Stereo Radio and an optional Inside Hood was the last year for the Hemi motor in the Roadrunner, and for collectors hunting the rarest in late-production Hemi Mopars, this is a premiere opportunity.

Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1971 Plymouth ROAD RUNNER recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1971 Plymouth ROAD RUNNER problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.
